The first thing you have to know is to make sure that nobody can access the cabinet or storage where the sample will be put on. And during the experiment, all samples should be left alone. Besides, spoiled or moldy food will make you sick.

Equipment and materials needed

• Cheese
• Milk
• And banana
• A storage to store the sample for a week
• Note and pen

You probably just wonder on what kind of food that will get moldy fastest and which one will need the refrigerator at very least. Refrigerator is supposed to keep the food edible and fresh.
Procedure of experiment
1. Buy each food in fresh condition. Before starting the experiment, you need to make sure that all samples are in good condition, fresh, and not moldy.
2. Take the bread, cheese, milk, and banana on the separate place. You can use plate or bowl and pour the milk into a glass or bowl.
3. Before putting them on the storage, you need to take photo of them for the “before” picture.
4. After that you can place them in the storage for a week. They should be in the same place at the same time as well. And the temperature should be the same in order to get the accurate answer.
5. 4 days up to a week is recommended and then you can check how it is going. You can know immediately which food is molded fastest too.
6. Take pictures of them for the “after” picture and write down what you see through one of science fair projects for 6th grade.
