Mint gives cool and fresh sensation. But, is it really able to decrease the temperature?
Materials needed
You need to prepare some materials such as:
• A pack of minty candy you can find at supermarket
• Hot water on two glasses
• Thermometer
• Notes and pen to write the progress
Procedure

• Put a glass and fill it with hot water. Take the temperature on it and record what the temperature said.
• Bring in 5 mints in that hot water and immediately put the temperature to make sure if there is certain change.
• Put in more mints on the previous glass in one time and still, you have to monitor it if something happen. You can take 30 minutes to record them and see what is happening in there.
• The water in the other glass is supposes to be the reference. We all know that hot water cools down over time. And in this experiment we want to know if mints can boost the cooling down process or not.
